Equipment
We Use Only Professional Video and Audio Equipment.
Deposition Video and Audio is recorded to DVCAM tape and to electronic file simultaneously. The two hour DVCAM tape allows for longer recording time between tape changes. The audio is recorded a third time to audio cassette for the benefit of the court reporter and can aid in the transcription of the deposition.
We use at a minimum three hard wired lavaliere microphones and one hard wired table microphone. All audio signals are fed into an audio mixer to optimize sound levels while recording.
We do not place equipment or cables on conference table and we always use a nondescript photographic backdrop behind the witness while video taping.
