Equipment
We Use Only Professional Video and Audio Equipment.
Deposition Video and Audio are recorded to DVCAM tape and to electronic file simultaneously. The two hour DVCAM tape allows for longer recording time between tape changes (preferred by most attorneys) and the electronic file provides a digital backup.
The audio is recorded a third time to audio cassette or MP3 file for the benefit of the court reporter and can aid in the transcription of the deposition. All audio signals from wired lavaliere microphones are fed into an audio mixer to optimize sound levels while recording.
We do not place equipment or cables on conference table and we use a nondescript photographic backdrop behind the witness while video taping. We arrive early to setup and test equipment, dress and act professionally, and refrain from interrupting the deposition unless it is absolutely necessary.
